PERSONALITIES

David Lazarus

Saturday: 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM

David Lazarus began his radio career in the newspaper. As an award-winning columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle and then the Los Angeles Times, he brings an engaging personality to his work and a relentless focus on cutting through the bull. His columns have resulted in a variety of laws protecting Californians, including a ban on sending voter information abroad and limits on how frequently banks can recycle former customers' checking account numbers. He is a two-time winner of the National Headliner Award and, among other honors, has been named Journalist of the Year by both the Northern California Society of Professional Journalists and the Consumer Federation of California.

David is a UC Berkeley graduate and, unlike his wife and son, has no problem with foggy San Francisco nights.
